2Sox1goal was a self-started campaign targetting Racism in Football. Whilst other similar charities seemed to concentrate on the politics and the Premiership, we started where we thought we could make a difference. At grass roots level with young people not already biased and bigoted. Simply by encouraging junior teams to play games in one black sock and one white sock, they could send out a message to their peers that different ethnicities belong together in football. A lot of persistence and hard work was rewarded when it featured in a BBC documentary.
